Investors' BEFORE and AFTER thoughts from touring Detroit

Ok, so things aren't going so well with your rental property ... but should you sell it?

If I could, I would shout this from the rooftops "Rental properties are long-term investments!"

What does that mean? It means that if you decide to sell when something goes wrong, then chances are you'll a) lose money and b) miss out on the true profit potential of the property (a profit that happens over the long term).

After 10 years of owning rentals, and looking back at my experiences now, all of my "bad times" are now just blips on my radar (Yes, even the expensive ones) and the profits I've made far outdo those single losses.
